Impact Programs - Supporting At-Risk First-Year Students to Graduation

Program Overview

After a successful first-year, Impact Scholars students will work towards a Certificate in Leadership and Strengths. Requirements for a Certificate in Leadership and Strengths: 6 individual coaching sessions with a Strengths-trained staff member (1 per semester after the first-year), 2 Strengths workshops per academic year, 2 wellness seminars per academic year, and participate in the Impact Your Community Service event. These students are expected to maintain good standing and satisfactory academic progress. Interested students may join Impact Scholars at any point after their first academic year at the College of Charleston.     • Strengths in Leadership and Career Planning workshop
    • Strengths and Relationship Building workshop
